Social Media Dashboard
I decided to attempt a dashboard interface as I have never done one before. I have seen the rise of social media marketing positions so I wanted to create a platform that will assist content creators and their managing team to track their statistics across all social media platforms.
To help me with my design, I had to research what was included in a dashboard. I took inspiration through different dashboard interfaces from other designers on different elements that I wanted in my own design. Next, I went through different social media platforms and studied their dashboards that were inbuilt for their content creators. I was heavily inspired by TikTok's dashboard and how they displayed information which included in-depth statistics such as location and age of followers.
I wanted the home page of the design to show the statistics that were most crucial across all social media platforms, specifically the number of new engagement. Users can select the date frame on their overview and a percentage is provided so users can easily track whether their engagement is going up/down. Users can then go into each individual social media platform (via the side menu) to get a comprehensive view of their engagement on that specific platform.
